“It is increasingly important to be able to value people in organizations. The world has always changed. Technologies are a reality. We are currently witnessing a paradigm shift. In the last 50 years the world has changed more than in all human history (…) now we are in the era of 4.0 industry, but people are key and that's the asset we must work on because the technologies will always be available. People are the wealth of companies and it's increasingly important to value them, to retain them in organizations, to develop their skills. We have always given priority to people (…) we are richer on a human level – of people and interaction between people. While many companies have developed a lot in technology, and are now more technologically advanced than we are, we have done the opposite. And perhaps many of those companies are now weakened in what concerns motivating their staff. Our people enjoy working in the company and have it in their DNA and so now it's a matter of training, knowledge acquisition, to prepare themselves for technological changes. That was our choice: we preferred people over technology.”
